Check out this recent turning by Frank Berinstein, a lidded container, carved and tinted and wood burning detail, 5¼” in diameter and 6¼” tall.

Take a minute to check out the pendants that Joe Bernard has been turning recently. 

 

They range from 2 to 3½ inch diameter. The woods used include Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Oak Burl, Mahogany and Camaru (a South American hardwood).

Please have a look below at Frank Berinstein's latest piece: a lidded vessel with red maple body and apple wood lid. The piece is tinted, wood burned and stippled. 

 

The diameter is 10 ½ " tall and the piece is ¼ " tall with lid, 4 ¼” without lid. It has a lacquered finish and is fitted with brass feet.

About Us

We are a non-profit organization and welcome anybody interested in wood turning . Our regular monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month, September - June, at the Lion's Club Hall, 935 Sydenham Road, from 7 - 9 pm.
